54 & Counting is the journey of Officer Nakia McConnell, a black officer that is conflicted between his lifelong dream of being a police officer like his father and speaking up against the injustices committed against his people. 54 represents the number of high-profile cases of unarmed black men and women being killed by the police & counting because unfortunately there has been a spike in that number.
